Upton Young Citizens Ripples of Kindness Appeal

Ripples of Kindness

Dear Parents and Carers,

Upton pupils would like you to help us spread a bit of happiness. We are looking to create thoughtful presents for children in Bexley, who would otherwise receive nothing this holiday season.

We would like you to send in presents that your own child would enjoy. In the past, we have been shocked by your generosity but please keep presents to under £20. These presents will need to be new.

Here are some present ideas:

Reception: playdough, Lego mini-figures, dinosaurs or Small World figures.

Year 1: colouring pencils and books, playdough, picture books.

Year 2:  simple board games, craft materials, small sport equipment.

Year 3: Slime, dolls, arts and crafts

Year 4: Deck of cards, board games, Rubik Cube, action figures

Year 5: Books, Teddy, pens, notepad

Year 6: Sports balls, colouring pencils, books, beads.

As Young Citizen Ambassadors, we will be creating age specific gift bags that will be handed to children through the Solace Project. Please bring in donations until ... so that after a period of quarantine, we can create some thoughtful presents and pass that ripple of kindness on.

Many thanks,

Upton Ambassadors
